These heat shielding gaskets go between the lower intake runners and the cylinder head, and the lower runners and upper plenum, reducing heat transfer between the head and the intake plenum and fuel injectors. They are used on many high performance import cars with much success, so we thought the 1JZ guys should have access to them too! These gaskets seal well, and are reusable.

Fits VVTi and non-VVTi 1JZ-GTE engines!

Lower Gasket: Goes between the head and the lower runners.

Upper Gasket: Goes between the lower runners and upper plenum.

Typical results with a heat shielding gasket would be a 17-20 degree (F) drop in intake plenum temp, and a 8-10 degree (F) drop in intake air temp.
