AR5 Transmission Swap Kit. We get quite a few calls and emails asking what parts are needed for an AR5 transmission swap from a Pontiac Solstice into a Supra, IS300, SC300, etc... We decided to make a kit where you can select the items people typically need when doing this project. This may not be everything, but it will give you an idea of some of the main items you may want. * A 1JZ Bell Housing is needed for an AR5 transmission on any JZ engine (1jzgte, 2jzgte, 2jzge, 2jzgte vvti, etc...)

* If you select a ClutchMasters Twin Disc Clutch Kit, it includes a custom internal Hydraulic Slave Cylinder, but does not include a Pilot Bearing. With the Twin Disc clutch kit you do NOT need to add a Slave Cylinder, Full Length Clutch Hose, Pressure Plate Bolts, Clutch Fork, Clutch Hub, Fork Support, or 1JZ Flywheel.

* If you select an Action or ACT Clutch Kit, it includes an AR5 Pilot Bearing, and a Release Bearing.

* JDM R154 Shifter Housing converts the shifter to the length of a Soarer R154. It is subject to availability, please call to check stock before ordering. The stock Solstice AR5 shifter is about 4"-8" too far back for a SC/MK4/IS/240sx

* The input shaft on the AR5 needs to be cut about 1/4" shorter, and the pilot bearing pin on the input shaft needs to be machined back to the start of the splines (remove the cone shape in front of the splines)
