1JZ/2JZ Serpentine Tensioner Pulley/Belt No AC or PS. If you want to eliminate both the AC pump and PS pump, you need to run a new ribbed pulley on your original tensioner arm, and a shorter belt. Some people have called this the "S2000 pulley mod", but ours is a 6 rib pulley with the correct offset. The tensioner arm is not included and you must remove the original smooth pulley and replace it with this new ribbed one. A simple modification is required to the ribs on the aluminum arm behind the pulley to allow extra clearance, this can be done simply with a hand file, a dremel tool, or a grinder.
We only recommend this setup with a stock size crank pulley, and it can't be used with a high output alternator. With an with an underdrive (smaller than stock) crank pulley it may not have enough belt engagement around the pulley, which can cause the belt to slip, and with an overdrive ATI crank pulley it turns everything 20% faster than stock, which also can make the belt slip.
