Driftmotion Adjustable Throw R154 Shifter
This is an item we have been working on for a while, and we are proud to be able to offer it to you! These shifters have a variable pivot point, allowing you to go from short throw to medium throw. We accomplished this by threading the pivot ball, and including a spacer. We have an option for a straight or angled lever on our Adjustable Throw Shifter. We also addressed the common issue of leaking R154 shifters by integrating an o-ring into the shifter housing and the spacer. We include a rubber boot and clamps to completely seal oil in, and dirt out. These shifters are made in the USA, using 304 stainless, and 6061 aluminum, with radiused aluminum-bronze alloy bushings. The shifting feel is very smooth and precise. If you did a shifter extension and it isn't quite aligned correctly in the housing, this lever can be adjusted up/down to compensate for it. We made the 12mm x 1.25 threads extra long at the top, so if you prefer a shorter lever you can cut it down. The length is about the same as a stock MK3 Supra shift lever.
*Adjustable Throw shifters both include a spacer and two different bolt lengths, to give you short or medium throw.
*Include a rubber boot with clamps.
*A Marlin Crawler shifter socket is optional, but recommended. If you already have a socket you can select "NO Shifter Socket Included"
*Our Tomei shift knob is optional, but its a nice option for the money! Otherwise any 12mm x 1.25 shift knob can be used.
*SC300 and MK4 Supra with a typical 4.75" shifter extension usually works best with the straight lever version, MK3 Supra and many other vehicles would usually be best with the angled lever.
*These shifters are for the R154 from the MK3 Supra, and early Soarer, it will not fit the JZX100 stock tripod, or the JZX110 R154 stock housing. These shifters will fit the W58 transmission from the MK3 Supra.
