DC Power 180amp 1JZ/2JZ Alternator. This is an awesome bolt-on alternator from DC Power for 1JZ and 2JZ engines! If you have a demanding electrical system and you want the very best, this is it! It can handle heavy duty continuous load items like an electric power steering pump, high power electric fans, high horsepower fuel pumps, extra vehicle lighting, big stereo systems, etc... Don't let the amperage rating mislead you, DC Power alternators can make close to their rated amperage continuously, with low ripple current, also with great amperage capability at idle. It comes with a Denso oval connector adapter, which can also be easily converted to a self-regulated type that just needs one ignition 12v input.

For this alternator we recommend 2/0 battery cables (positive and ground), and for cars with a battery relocation we recommend running an additional ground cable from the alternator case (or engine block) directly to the battery. We highly recommend either an Odyssey PC925, PC1200 or larger, or another AGM battery like Bosch, Champion, etc...

If you have an ATI crank pulley that is larger than stock, or a high redline over 8500rpm, we recommend the underdrive pulley option. For a stock or underdrive crank pulley, we recommend the stock size alternator pulley.
