NEW Driftmotion Short Throw R154 Shifter.
The best shifter ever made for an R154 just got more affordable! Our Driftmotion R154 short shifters are the smoothest shifting, use the best materials, and have the best overall design features!
This new version has a nice shortened throw compared to stock. We have an option for a straight or angled lever. We addressed the common issue of R154 shifters leaking oil by integrating an o-ring into the shifter housing, and we include a rubber boot and clamps to completely seal oil in, and dirt out. These shifters are made in the USA, using 304 stainless, and 6061 aluminum, with radiused aluminum-bronze alloy bushings. The shifting feel is very smooth and precise. We made the 12mm x 1.25 threads extra long at the top, so if you prefer a shorter lever you can cut it down. The length is about the same as a stock MK3 Supra shift lever.
This short shifter is shown on one of our upgraded Driftmotion billet shifter housings (SOLD SEPARATELY for MK3 or Tripod/JDM), but it also works with the stock R154 MK3 type shifter housing.
*Shifter includes a rubber boot with clamps.
*A Marlin Crawler shifter socket is optional, but recommended. If you already have a socket you can select "NO Shifter Socket Included"
*Our delrin shift knob is optional, but its a nice option for the money! Otherwise any 12mm x 1.25 shift knob can be used.
*SC300 and MK4 Supra with a typical 4.75" shifter extension usually works best with the straight lever version, MK3 Supra and many other vehicles would usually be best with the angled lever.
*These shifters are for the R154 from the MK3 Supra, and early Soarer, they will not fit tripod R154 versions, These shifters will also fit W58 transmissions from the MK3 Supra. We have a tripod R154 short shifter available HERE
